Research
Suncast dedicates a significant portion of its pre-tax income to research and development every year. Our company has had the opportunity to bring wear solutions to a number of different applications, in a variety of working conditions. Collaboration is not new to us. We have cooperated with customers, suppliers and with research institutions on projects in order to find solutions as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In order to be able to continue to offer such solutions to wear challenges, we review problem areas thoroughly with customers and apply our experience to the development of solutions. If necessary, we construct testing facilities with simulated conditions intended to mimic conditions in the problem area, as approved by a Professional Engineer when required. Some of our projects involve the dedication of resources to research and/or development only for a matter of weeks or months; others are ongoing for several years until a solution is developed for the problem at hand.
Our material selection, wear performance and ReCast™ process have all led to proprietary solutions as a result of the commitment to engage in testing, research or development whenever our knowledge, experience and innovation can assist a customer.
Suncast Polytech Inc. has a 'Permit to Practice' and directly offers Professional Engineering services.
