Suncast Polytech Inc. specializes in refurbishing rubber and polyurethane idler and mid-roller bogie wheels for tracked tractors. Our process includes:
1. Inspection and measurement of customer-supplied wheel cores.
2. Stripping of remaining rubber/urethane material.
3. Sandblasting to ensure optimal surface preparation for material bond strength.
4. Application of a multilayer bonding agent, thermoset onto the core.
5. Urethane casting over the wheel core in a mold, followed by curing in an oven.
6. Final finishing to ensure the refurbished wheel matches the original dimensions.
